Ludu 3 is Ludu Robotics' full-size humanoid robot platform — 145 cm tall, 31 degrees of freedom, and able to move at up to 5 m/s. Every core component, from the BXI joint actuators to the multi-joint control unit, is engineered in-house. That makes Ludu 3 not just a robot, but a platform your brand can ship.
Highlights
- 31 DoF — 7 per arm, 6 per leg, plus neck and waist joints
- 145 cm / approx. 38 kg — a true full-size form factor that fits human environments
- 5 kg payload per arm (10 kg with elbow support)
- Up to 5 m/s locomotion speed
- 518 Wh battery — approximately 1 hour of runtime
- Lidar + Intel RealSense D435i depth vision
- Hollow-routing joints with dual encoders for clean cable management and precise control

An actuator set engineered in-house
Ludu 3 is powered by the BXI joint actuator family: BXI-85 for the knees (150 N·m peak), BXI-70 for shoulders and leg yaw (50 N·m peak), and BXI-50 for wrists and ankles (25 N·m peak). All three share the same CAN FD / MIT-protocol interface, hollow-shaft routing and dual-encoder feedback, so integration and maintenance stay simple across the whole robot.
Motion control that ships with the robot
Ludu 3's locomotion and skills are trained with our reinforcement-learning pipeline — from motion data capture through retargeting, RL training, Sim2Sim and finally Sim2Real deployment. The result is dynamic, robust motion: stable walking over uneven ground, jumping, kicking and fast recovery.
As an ODM customer you receive the full software stack: CAN FD MIT protocol, ROS 2 drivers, the RL training framework and URDF models on Ubuntu 22.04 — so your team can develop, retrain and extend.
Ready for your brand
Ludu 3 is the base platform of our robot ODM service: customize the appearance in 10–12 weeks, tailor the software and motion to your scenario, and receive volume production under your own brand.
