The BXI Gripper is a purpose-built parallel gripper for humanoid platforms: light enough for the arm, strong enough for real objects, and simple enough to integrate in days.
Specifications
- 1 DoF parallel closing motion
- Under 500 g total mass
- Gripper fingers: 100 mm long × 150 mm wide × 38 mm thick
- Driven by the BXI-50 joint actuator
- Up to 100 N maximum grip force
- Compatible with third-party dexterous hands
Built for manipulation tasks
The long, wide fingers give a generous grasp envelope for boxes, tools and household objects, while the 100 N grip force ceiling covers industrial-style pick-and-place. Torque, position and velocity are controlled over the same CAN FD MIT protocol as every BXI joint — one bus, one API.
Flexible for your product
Because the BXI Gripper is BXI-50-driven, finger geometry and surface materials can be customized in an ODM project — and if your product needs fine in-hand manipulation, the mounting interface accepts third-party dexterous hands instead.
